When you book a Dance In Steps workshop you know that a funky, fun-filled, toe-tapping pupil experience is on the cards - literally!

King Dance together with his courtiers (including characters such as Freddie Foot, Mr Beat, Super Stretch) have been set a dance challenge by their arch-enemy the Duke of Cold Foot.

This workshop incorporates original stories, poems and activity sheets to help pupils learn about the four general requirements featured in the P.E. N.C.

Pupils are introduced to dance actions, dynamics and basic compositional skills. To accompany the workshop there is a 96 Page A4 teaching Manual, 37 Flashcards and a Music CD.

This is a simple example of one of the dances that will be taught to your children. This is called The Shiver Dance. Prior to learning this dance, pupils will be taught the key concepts and processes associated with 'warming up'.
