What an inspirational person Andrea is! I felt privileged to be on the course on Friday and to learn about dance from such a fabulous practitioner. Delivering the core skills in any subject of the curriculum for me has just become crystal clear. I have already shared the experience with my daughter who is both a dancer and music teacher in one of our local high schools and is busy as I speak or rather write, working out her own rhymes for he music core skills etc. Thanks again for Julie for finding and making available such high quality training.

Thanks for all your help.

When I joined the Youth Sport Trust I met with Andrea to discuss how she could contribute to the national PESSCL strategy in terms of working with school sport partnership networks. Her company became a member of the YST Business Honours Club and through this work was engaged to provide professional development for lead practitioners in dance to improve the quality of teaching and learning in dance from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4. Her innovative programme 'Dance - The Rules of the Game' provided a means to make Dance accessible to the masses and to help the Lead Practitioners assist teachers to deliver high quality dance lessons and encourage even the most reluctant teacher to engage and feel confident when delivering a dance lesson. The feedback from teachers was excellent across the board.

The depth of knowledge and experience of Dance In Education Services, together with an awareness of National Curriculum changes, enables them to create or tailor CPD courses to meet our precise needs. The quality of course delivery and support materials is consistently of the highest standard. Course evaluations show that participants always leave feeling confident and inspired.

A good mix of practical, theory and resources. Excellent tutor - good knowledge of Dance in relation to PE National Curriculum and PESS.

Teachers in Kirklees have benefited greatly from in-service training led by Andrea. As a result they have developed confidence in delivery of the National Curriculum and by using the Dance In Steps resources they also have a bank of "fool proof" ideas.
Eileen Marchant, School Improvement Officer, National Trainer and Author
Really enjoyed the course, but particular strengths were the tutors knowledge of relating Dance to the PE National Curriculum. The website produced is fantastic, just what I needed!

Andrea has made a significant contribution to our Dance Inset programme in Hull and has made a real impact on improving standards of teaching and learning within our schools. Her good subject knowledge is evident in both her teaching and the wonderful Dance resources she has produced. Her materials have helped our teachers to interpret the National Curriculum through Dance and to make significant gains in their knowledge and understanding of technical and compositional aspects of Dance.
Brenda Grace, Improvement Teacher (PE & Sport)
It has been wonderful to see how children with special education needs have flourished with the Dance club and performances showing good skills and rhythm. In addition, the chance for children of all ages especially the younger ones to participate in this activity was fantastic. A wonderful event, thank you.

Thank you we had loads of fun! The children really enjoyed learning something new (as did I!), Nikki had a great relationship with the children and explained things in an easy, understandable manner.
Joanne Richardson, KS2 Teacher, Wykeham CE Primary School.
Had the children’s attention and respect at all times, always positive and smiling!, kept them busy and moving the entire time, boys and girls got a lot out of these sessions, very impressed with warm ups/finishes to lessons and all in between. Very good content. Very enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend her to all my colleagues. Thank you.
