Dance: Big Leaps in Small Steps is a unique course specifically designed for anyone delivering or managing Dance within the PE National Curriculum (Primary). You will be taught tried and tested techniques focusing on skill development, creativity, applying dance themes, performance, evaluation and healthy lifestyle.

Who is the course for?
PDMs, SSCOs, PE Coordinators, PLTs, Primary Teachers, Teaching Assistants, HLTAs and professional dancers considering schools residencies.

What is its purpose?
This course is designed to assist primary school teachers in their delivery of a comprehensive and progressive dance programme. This dynamic and accessible course will show how Dance in primary schools can be prescriptive without losing its creativity. It offers sharp-shooting, practical advice on delivering Dance to facilitate pupil achievement.

Course includes:
+ One day training in a local, quality hotel or quality leisure centre (see booking form for dates).
+ A range of Take Away and prescriptive resource packs, including: Core Skills of Dance teaching manual, Core Skills Curriculum Model.
