Dance In Steps

Dance in Steps has been designed to provide KS1 teachers with a structured and comprehensive dance programme. It adopts a unique, virtually zero preparation, 'Pick Up and Go' approach and is compliant with the requirements of the P.E. National Curriculum.

Assessment is made easy with the step by step procedure included in the back of the book.
Within these pages, pupils are taken on a dance adventure where their understanding of Creation, Performance and Evaluation is developed through the incorporation of original characters, stories interactive poems, activity sheets reward cards and Flash Cards.

Reward materials, in the form of SuperStar Certificates, are included in the resource and pupils can even colour them in themselves!

All lessons and topics have a clear guide to their relationship with the curriculum and the manual, music and flash cards are all neatly interwoven, so that you don't have to guess what part of the resource you're using or when Dance In Steps provides opportunities for pupils to acquire and develop skills, gain awarenss of health and safety issues, and encourages them to identify their own and others' strengths and weaknesses in context.
